Today I thought I would talk about something I get asked ALOT, and that is 'How do you get makeup for free?'
Thanks to Influenster I'm able to recieve and review makeup.
However, you can't just sign up and expect them to email you one day saying you're in a campaign.
In order for brands and places to trust that you will review products you have to be active on social media so they know you will post about the products they sent. You don't even have to have a high impact score (How many followers you have on all social media)
They want to know you will promise a review so they aren't sending products out for no reason, that's probably why it takes a while when starting out, but being patient is usually rewarding. It took me a little over a year to recieve my first VoxBox and it was worth it! I somehow managed to get in the bareMinerals Blemish Rescue Campaign, my hard work finally paid off. In the mean time I was working my thumbs out reviewing and scanning everything I could, from my makeup, to my pets food and treats, even cleaning supplies! They send more then just makeup also!
I have over 300 discussions and over 100 reviews, the more active you are and the more you interact definitely impacts if you get a VoxBox or not. I've seen alot of people begging in the comments for free makeup but that's not how Influenster works. It sucks some people are picked way more than others but as long as you keep working and don't give up you will be rewarded!
