August BirchBox!!

This month I got the August BirchBox and I was very pleased with most everything I received.

First, I used a code and managed to get a free MAC Liptensity Lipstick in 'Gumball'. This lipstick is so cute and so good, I'm obsessed! It went on so easy and gave me no issues. This lipstick retails for $21.

The other products I recieved in this months box are,

- (MALIN + GOETZ) grapefruit cleanser

- COOLA SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray

- Lipstick Queen Lip Liner - Natural

- Love of Color Shadow Stick - Champagne 

Problems

- OUAI Wave Spray

To start off, the (MALIN+GOETZ) Grapefruit cleanser smells so good! It made my face feel smooth and refreshed. This product claims it prevents blemishes, hydrates, and softens the skin. It did it's job and I'm impressed! I definitely will be reusing this product. If you're interested, the full size retails for $36.

  Next, the COOLA SPF 30 Setting Spray. When I first tried it, I didn't shake it well and it smelt of strong alcohol. It says it does not have any in it, but it burned my eyes and nose. The next day I decided to retry it and that strong smell wasn't there. I haven't tried it again, but it did set my makeup well. I'll probably use this sample but I don't see myself repurchasing. It was nice to try something new though. The full size retails for $36.

  Next product I'll be talking about is the Lipstick Queen Lip Liner in Natural. I was excited to recieve my first Lipstick Queen product and was not let down! The pigment is there, making the job easier. I was able to line my lips easily with precision, and the product was really creamy. It really helped my lipstick last longer, and this shade is beautiful!  The full size lip liner retails for $18.

The Love of Color Shadow Stick in Champagne Problems is beautfiul. I have to have more shades! It lasted all day and still looked beautiful when I took it off. Didn't budge or crease which I loved. I have used this alot since receiving it, makes a great highlight for inner corner and brow bone. Highly reccomend! Retails for $10!

 Last product I'll be reviewing is the OUAI Wave Spray. I sprayed this about 4-5 times in my damp hair and scrunched it up. The smell is very nice, I sprayed it in when my hair was dry and it's all I smelt walking around! It did give me 'effortlessly tousled waves' like it claims.  This is one I'll probably repurchase, I'm in love! This texturizing spray in full size retails for $26.

To conclude this BirchBox review, I was very pleased with the products I received. I think I got my money's worth and I would order another month! Love this box and I recommend it to anyone looking for a beauty box to subscribe to!
