About My Time on YouTube

Hi I'm Alyssa Brooke, 19, and here recently I've been getting back into YouTube! I first started YouTube when I was 15 years old. My first official video was posted July 25, 2016, it was a get to know me. Of course now you can't find about 34 of my old videos from me putting them on private, but it's better that way..😂

My sister and I would live stream a lot back in 2015, and we would pull thousands of views and even had regular people who would jump in right when they got notified we were live, it helped me get started being comfortable on camera.

Starting out, I remember it being hard to talk to a camera, but as I kept getting videos out and live streaming more I became more and more comfortable. Of course then, just like now, I have had some people and YouTube that keep trying to stop me.

However, I've learned to over come these obstacles now after so many years of dealing with other things. I'm excited for the future and what's in store for me.

The last real makeup video I posted before I completely stopped for 2 years, was on October 19, 2018, it was a Halloween Skull tutorial. Unfortunately our family kept getting hit with a bunch of challenges/obstacles and doing YouTube took more motivation then I had at the time.

After the end of 2019 and now onto 2020, I've finally found myself again.

I have a stronger heart and mind, I almost feel back to my happy self that I missed.

Now that I'm back on YouTube, I realized how much I missed editing and posting content.

It has brought more joy to my life, even my family has noticed. I'm still working on perfecting everything. I have bought a microphone and I'm trying to find a good camera to help my content grow and get better quality.
